Today’s gospel reading contains iconic words from Jesus: “Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matt. 11:28-30). Jesus offers a yoke to tired listeners and tells them that a yoke will give them rest.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, July 5, 2026. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch.
