The Luther Rose
The Luther Rose, also known as Luther’s Seal, is a widely recognized symbol of Lutheranism. It was created for Martin Luther in 1530 and was intended to express important parts of his Christian faith and theology.
Its black cross, red heart, white rose, blue field and golden ring each carry symbolic meaning connected with faith, peace, hope and eternal life.
