In the gospel of Mark, Jesus is on a mission to save and liberate everyone from the forces of evil. But some have a problem with this: the religious authorities and Jesus’ own family. How do we follow the Spirit’s call to change the world when it conflicts with our own need for order and tradition? Fortunately Jesus is setting all of us free—no matter what holds us.
This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, June 6, 2021. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are: Psalm 130; 2 Corinthians 4:13-5:1; and Mark 3:20-35.
