This day is Creation Sunday. A new festival from the ELCA that celebrates, you guessed it -Creation! You will notice throughout the month of September we will be using some different confessions and prayers that are creation focused. As we walk our individual faith journeys, as church together we are becoming more focused on how we can care for, pray for, and sustain this beautiful world God gave us. We are called to be good stewards of the earth and each other. May we come together to embrace new ways that we can do this to benefit not only ourselves but those who come after us.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, September 6, 2026. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch.

The Bible readings for this worship service are Genesis 1 1-2,4a   Psalm 148  Acts 17 :22a, 24-28, John 1:1-5
