Our humanity comes with many feelings and thoughts. Sometimes they interfere with our identity as children of God. We struggle with unforgiveness, aniety, anger, selfishness. We are gifted with so many complex emotions. Last week we talked about forgiveness. This week we are talking about restriction. What I mean by that is sometimes in our humanness we feel a little entitled. We want to keep our fair share of the good things because we feel we have earned it. More than those around us. God reminds us, that their lavish love is abundant for all and we do not get to decide who gets more or less. We need to be thankful for being included. More than that we should be thankful that our neighbors are included and that there is so much at the banquet table, no one will go hungry.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, September 20, 2026. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch.
