Online Worship: Christ the King Sunday

Kings are the stuff of legends and history in the U.S., complete with riches and power and glory. But Jesus is a totally different kind of king. The end of the church year is marked with the festival of Christ the King, when we celebrate and give thanks that Christ is greater than all earthly powers. He is a king who rules with love and mercy and forgiveness.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, November 20, 2022. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. It also includes the Rite of Confirmation for Camryn Elizabeth Klepadlo. The Bible readings for this worship service are: Jeremiah 23:1-6; Psalm 46; Colossians 1:11-20; and Luke 23:33-43.
