Online Worship: Day of Pentecost

The story of Pentecost is not about everyone speaking the same language, but about everyone being truly understood. Poured out in wind and fire, water, wine, and bread, the Holy Spirit abides in and among us. We give thanks that God speaks to each of us, no matter our origins, language, or life path. Filled with the Spirit of truth, we go out to proclaim the saving power of Christ’s love and the freedom of God’s grace with all the world.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, June 8, 2025. We will also celebrate two baptisms, welcome one young person to the Communion table, and recognize our graduates. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Genesis 11:1-9; Psalm 104:24-34, 35b; Acts 2:1-21; and John 14:8-17, 25-27.
