Online Worship: Fifth Sunday in Lent

Where do you go and what do you do when you are deep in sadness and grief? Like Jesus, we show up for our friends and family and we love them. And when we don’t even have the strength do that, we listen for Jesus to call us forth from the tomb. In today’s readings, Jesus reveals his power over death by raising Lazarus from the dead and the prophet Ezekiel prophesies God breathing new life into dry bones. In these stories, we hear God’s promise of resurrection.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, March 26, 2023. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Ezekiel 37:1-14; Psalm 130; Romans 8:6-11; and John 11:1-45.
