Our sense of smell cuts right through our reason and logic and goes straight to our center of emotional memory. Our gospel today is filled with powerful scents and emotions that speak prophetically about what is to come. Jesus will be poured out for the world as Mary pours out her precious perfume. The scent of that loving action clings to Jesus and to us, changing us as we too proclaim love for the world.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, April 6, 2025. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Isaiah 43:16-21; Psalm 126; Philippians 3:4b-14; and John 12:1-8.
