Online Worship: Fourth Sunday after Pentecost

Freedom! It should be a simple concept, but as we see today, it’s anything but. Freedom and power have a complex relationship and in our second reading, Paul has many thoughts on how Christians should exercise them both. On this weekend when we celebrate freedom in the United States, we ponder what it truly means and how we can live freedom, not just have it.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, July 6, 2025. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are 2 Kings 5:1-14; Psalm 30; Galatians 5:1, 13-25; and Luke 10:1-11, 16-20.
