In today’s service we explore Psalm 23 in spoken and sung versions. The psalm imagines an abundant life as promised to those who follow Jesus. An abundant life is one lived in God’s presence, in the Lord’s company. Whether it is in green pastures or the darkest valley, there is nothing to want because God is present. The image of Jesus as our shepherd reminds us that he is always with us.
This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, April 26, 2026. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are: Acts 2:42-47; Psalm 23; 1 Peter 2:19-25; and John 10:1-10.
