Online Worship: Reformation Sunday

Today we remember and celebrate the good news that time and time again, God is a god of love and mercy and forgiveness for a wayward people. Every age needs a messenger to remind us of this truth. Jeremiah reminded the Jews of his time. Luther reminded sixteenth-century Europe. We need to be reminded too. God is love and we are saved by God’s life-changing grace.

This worship service includes the Rite of Confirmation. It also includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, October 29, 2023. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Jeremiah 31:31-34; Psalm 46; Romans 3:19-28; and John 8:31-36.
