Today is celebrated as Christ the King Sunday, and we look with expectation for the coming of our king again to begin his reign. The gospel today tells of Jesus being crucified with a sign over his head reading The King of the Jews as a joke. But it turns out to be true. Jesus, the upside-down king, forgives those who caused him harm and has mercy on those who come to his side.
This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, November 23, 2025. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch.
