It’s usually reassuring to get back to normal after a big life event. But for Peter and Paul, their attempts to get “back to normal” went off track the minute Jesus got involved. Sometimes normal is overrated. Sometimes normal is a code word for being stuck in the status quo. When Jesus shows up, a new way of life is always possible.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, May 4, 2025. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Acts 9:1-20; Psalm 30; Revelation 5:11-14; and John 21:1-19.
