Online Worship: Twenty-First Sunday after Pentecost

This or that. Black or white. Us or them. The world is full of false dichotomies and people who want to force us to choose between them. Jesus rejects that framework and the dehumanization that it brings about. We may have to live in an imperfect and broken world, but we do not belong there, because when we come to our end, we belong to God. All of us.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, October 22, 2023. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Psalm 96:1-13; 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10; and Matthew 22:15-22.
