Online Worship: Fifth Sunday after Epiphany

In Jesus’ healing work, we see the hand of God, lifting up those who are ill to health and service and lifting up the powerless to soar on wings like eagles. Through our own hands, imperfect yet gifted, we are given the gifts of community and relationship. Healing brings us out of isolation and into a community that hopes for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, February 4, 2024. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Isaiah 40:21-31; Psalm 147:1-11, 20c; 1 Corinthians 9:16-23; and Mark 1:29-39.
