Online Worship: Fifth Sunday in Lent

We all have moments of heartbreak in our lives. It’s part of being human. But when our hearts are broken, it is like the turning of soil in the spring to be planted with new seeds and the hope of something new. Jesus tries to explain his coming death and resurrection using the image of seeds falling into the earth and dying in order to bring new life.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, March 17, 2024. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Jeremiah 31:31-34; Psalm 119:9-16; Hebrews 5:5-10; and John 12:20-33.
