Online Worship: First Sunday of Advent—Breathing In Hope

It’s hard to have hope nowadays. Not only do we live in weird times, and a weird, unpredictable world, but hope seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis. Is having hope really worth the hassle? And where in the world can we find it? Maybe it’s more like oxygen that God gives to keep us going, day after day after day.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, November 28, 2021. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are: Jeremiah 33:14-16; Psalm 25:1-10; 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13; and Luke 21:25-36.
