Jesus as the Good Shepherd. We’ve probably all seen the images of a well-groomed Jesus in an idyllic landscape, cuddling an impossibly clean and fluffy sheep. Guess what? That’s not what being a true shepherd, a good shepherd, is all about. It’s hard, smelly, gross and dirty work, which is exactly why it’s good news to hear Jesus say that this is who he is.
This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, April 21, 2024. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Acts 4:5-12; Psalm 23; 1 John 3:16-24; and John 10:11-18.
