Our world is divided and polarized more than ever before. Anger and rage are just below the surface, threatening to erupt at any moment. In this volatile moment, we hear Jesus’ words: Love your enemies. Do to others as you would have them do to you. The “Golden Rule” doesn’t seem quite so golden these days. What hope do Jesus’ words hold for us?
