Online Worship: Seventh Sunday after Pentecost

God’s word is like the rain that waters the earth and brings forth vegetation. It is also like the sower who scatters seed indiscriminately. We are like the soil, ever-changing in our response, but God never gives up on us. Even from what appears to be little, dormant, or dead, God promises a harvest and nourishes us, that we may bear fruit in the world.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, July 16, 2023. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Isaiah 55:10-13; Psalm 65:1-13; Romans 8:1-11; and Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23.
