Online Worship: Third Sunday after Pentecost

Only ten percent of an iceberg is visible above water…the rest is hidden underwater. Everyone has a story that is far deeper than what we can perceive, and pain that often is hidden. Jesus sends the disciples (and us) to go and preach the good news, not just by sharing words of hope, but by listening to people’s whole stories. Because God doesn’t just love the good parts of our stories. God loves all of who we are.

This worship service includes Communion as an extension of the table at St. Peter’s on Sunday, June 18, 2023. You may want to have bread/cracker and wine/juice ready before you watch. The Bible readings for this worship service are Genesis 18:1-15, 21:1-7; Psalm 116:1-2, 12-19; Romans 5:1-8; and Matthew 9:35-10:23.
